Who am I?

I'm a visual designer with 5 years of experience, deeply passionate about the intersection of culture and design. I am originally from Cairo, Egypt but currently based in Amsterdam. My work is driven by my love for storytelling and a keen eye for detail, aiming to create visually compelling and culturally interesting designs. I believe that the best design solutions come from a deep understanding of cultural contexts and user needs, and I strive to bring this philosophy into every project I work on. Whether it's branding, digital media, or print, my goal is to create unique and impactful design experiences that not only captivate but also connect on a deeper level with the intended audiences.

Karim, Kiki, or the prettiest person in the world - whatever you might call him, he’s a  person your team needs. Working with him is like having a fearless explorer on the team, ready to tackle any challenge with his determination and strong values. His talent for remembering facts and attention to detail are the secret weapons that push your project to the next level.

Working with Kiki will guarantee that you’ll be challenged and pushed to improve your own ways of working. I particularly enjoy that he does always communicate his views and ethics on everything which then make up for better results at work!

Kiki's leadership skills are exceptional, as he fosters an environment where every team member's voice is heard and valued. I admire his straightforwardness and honesty in his comments, which were vital for the project's success. Furthermore, his remarkable sensitivity in addressing complex issues is noteworthy. Working with Kiki not only ensures efficiency but also adds a touch of humor that makes the work more enjoyable.

Kiki is someone you may disagree and argue with yet never lose the friendship! This is treasure.  I definitely hope to have the chance to work and learn from him again.

I got to know Kiki during the first bigger project we had at university. It was an intense project with a lot of time pressure and it was good having a group which worked together through it all. I'm not gonna lie: Sometimes we wanted to strangle each other (or saw each others hands off ;)) but I couldn't have imagined a better team for this. Kiki was always there and stayed with us until 10pm to get the best out of the project. He was always there for a good laugh but also knew when it was time to be serious.
We got good friends after the project and now the days at uni when he's not there are always missing the little extra spice.

Kiki really stands out and can make different first impressions on people. But for me, meeting him was a very positive experience. From the start, when I joined the team, I noticed his knowledge, patience, and support. These traits make him an exceptional colleague. I value these qualities greatly as he shows them consistently. I enjoy talking with Kiki for hours, learning from his wide knowledge on many topics. I would be truly grateful to have a friend like Kiki in my life forever.
